Registered objectives

What the Society is set up to do

  • Promote thrift and savings among members.
  • Admit eligible persons as members in accordance with the Bye-laws and applicable law.
  • Mobilize share capital for the development of the Society.
  • Accept savings deposits from members, subject to applicable law.
  • Provide loans and credit facilities to eligible members under approved loan policies.
  • Create reserve funds and other statutory funds as required by law.
  • Undertake programs for member education and training.
  • Encourage women and youth participation in co-operative activities.
  • Maintain proper books of accounts and statutory registers.
