What the Society is set up to do
- Promote thrift and savings among members.
- Admit eligible persons as members in accordance with the Bye-laws and applicable law.
- Mobilize share capital for the development of the Society.
- Accept savings deposits from members, subject to applicable law.
- Provide loans and credit facilities to eligible members under approved loan policies.
- Create reserve funds and other statutory funds as required by law.
- Undertake programs for member education and training.
- Encourage women and youth participation in co-operative activities.
- Maintain proper books of accounts and statutory registers.
